I could talk here about the features that come with Todoist Premium as opposed to the free plan for Todoist, but it’s pretty easily searchable and you’ll find all the info here. While this may seem trivial, consequences such as not being able to get notifications on your computer when the tab is closed are kind of annoying.Īs of now, I switch back and forth between Todoist and G Cal and haven’t really settled down on one thing yet, as both have their advantages, but Todoist is for sure an amazing productivity app. Todoist also has a PC-app version in addition to a mobile app, while G Cal doesn’t have the PC-app, meaning you’ll have to open up your browser to access it. It doesn’t let you create events that are different time lengths, but the process of creating to-do list or a task is much, much easier and is just more friendly in general.
Todoist, though, is more of the task-type app.
It’s also better if you’re trying to go for an app where you can see your schedule laid out in front of you. G Cal is more event-based, with the ability to create events of different time lengths. While G Cal is perfect for events, it lacks the friendly user interface that Todoist gives, as well as the ease of creating tasks and the shortcuts involved. I’ve used countless other task apps before, including Google Calendar and Microsoft To-Do. Todoist has always been one of my most-used and favorite productivity apps, helping me stay organized with all the tasks I have done.
